J.G. Negraval

For over 10 years, Justin Negraval has been performing publicly in various contexts throughout the state of New Jersey. As founding member of Zanzibar, Justin established the company in 2000 to provide high-quality performance services and to provide the public with great music. Justin’s high-energy personality has helped Zanzibar provide DJ and MC services for over 50 events per year. Funny, energetic and tasteful, Justin’s skills define classy, first-rate entertainment. As a pianist, Justin has fronted multiple bands and ensembles and continues to perform for dozens of formal and festive events each year. In addition, Justin’s passion for music extends beyond the keyboard as he has written, recorded and produced music for himself and other artists. As a musician, Justin's unique approach to music selection inclues his innate ability to beat and style match as well as suggest songs that are appropriate at just the right moment. Justin says; “Music is not a job, it’s a passion.”

John DiMare

John has been entertaining clients for twenty years. He introduced the concept of “Sophisticated” DJ entertainment in the late eighties in the up-and-coming NYC Metro Mobile DJ market. A personal touch best describes his approach to entertaining at your affair. John’s musical knowledge ranges from Oldies thru Top Forty and Contemporary Christian music styles. John is skilled at gauging the level of audience participation desired at each party. He has innovated games and contests which keep all involved when appropriate. In all Zanzibar engagements, his desire is for you the client to be 100% satisfied with the professionalism and quality of the services provided. John also donates his time and technical talents to not-for-profit organizations. He enjoys wedding planning consultations as he can see his client‘s dreams for entertainment become a reality through the offerings of Zanzibar Entertainment.

Robert Antonelli

Continuing Zanzibar’s musical traditions, Rob Antonelli joins Zanzibar Entertainment as one of our assistant DJ's. As an active musician, Rob brings a certain level of performance energy that is unmatched. As Zanzibar’s resident, line-dancing expert, Rob is sure to get your guests on the dance floor! In addition to his musical abilities, Rob also brings his knowledge of musical recording systems, computer editing and is also the owner of “Pro Music Editing” a company specializing in performance track editing. Rob is also a nationally ranked, professional ice-skater. He has represented the United States in competitions around the world including Austria and Hungary. Rob continues to write and produce his own music catalogue that encorporates his ability to re-work classic songs by adding new beats, breaks and blends.

Lauren Mingoia

A proud member of the Zanzibar Team for over 7 years, Lauren maintains her role as our main client coordinator. As the voice of Zanzibar, Lauren’s attention to detail and pleasant personality allow our future clients to begin obtaining vital information about our services and availability. Lauren has planned many parties and special events not only for Zanzibar Entertainment but for private clients and companies as well.
